Bicycle Cemetery In Japan No Space To Store Bicycles, So They Have To Be Dumped!

Japan is one of those countries in the world, where people still use bicycles on a large scale today. Reason: People want to be healthy. At the same time, they want to make the environment clean by reducing the consumption of petrol and diesel. This is the reason that there are more than 80 million bicycles in Japan with a population of 1260 million. But for some time, their use has decreased in some cities of Japan.

There is no place to keep them in the house. So they have to dump them in the yard. Recently, about 70 thousand bicycles have been thrown from Saitama city with a population of 12.10 lakhs. These include bicycles from children to adults. Saitama Mayor Hayato Shimizu has expressed concern about this. He has appealed to the people to give to the needy instead of dumping the cycles.
